Culture association Africa i Östberga

Culture association Jalikunda is an open, politically unrestricted, occupying era cultural association, whose fundamental information is to promote and to spread knowledge about Jali tradition and Jalien musical and historical heritages so as manifest that avalanche in different countries, in different language groups and in diasporan. The association wants to encourage and to support Jalier, and other tradition carriers and cultural worker that use traditional expression means, to meeting, to exchange experiences, creates network contacts and to be developed proffessionell and artistical.

The foundations intention is that the associations activities will promote integration, equality, cooperation and understanding between people from different background. The culture association will also contribute to increasing the knowledge about the modern artistic performance in both those countries where Jali culture traditional is strong and those countries where im-/emigrated Jalier now lives.

The association's fundamental objective can be summarized in the following points:

* to seem for solidarity, peace, social harmony, and all people's equal value.

* to arrange, to support, and to encourage participating in cultural exchange over country boundaries and between different world parts and art articles.

* to support and to encourage Jalier, musicians, artists, organizers, manufacturers and other with interests for Jali culture, to artististic and proffessionell development through among other thing vocationally oriented discussions, network work, and meetings for and contacts between artists and other cultural worker.

* to particularly encourage women's and young people's artististic conducting, development and looking for knowledge about tradition, culture and history.

* to in various way contribute to documenting Jali inheritance and to protect that, and to maintain good manner when it comes to copyright and the artists' rights.

* to arrange concerts, lectures, movieshows and other cultural occasions where different shapes of Jali culture in various way stands in focus and to be presented for an audience.

* to seem in order to organic music and other culture will be easy to access and plentiful, special for children, young people and families, that admission fees to concerts etc. will be held so flame that possible, and that the artists' renumerations will be held so fairness that possible.

* to carry out teaching, and to arrange regular hits, lectures and courses etc., for children, young people and adult gladly in collaboration with other associations in order to part's to starch the heritage among them that is of Jali family, part's to deepen the knowledge about that cultural heritages that Jalier´s in various way carries with itself. Education can be as well practical as theoretical and to contain both traditionallily and new materials when it comes to above all song, dance, playing on different instruments, culture, story and modern relations.
